Former Red Sox ace Jon Lester has left the door open on a possibility to return to Boston and the team reportedly took him up on it by offering a multi-year deal.

However, the Sox aren’t the only team looking to acquire the lefty.

Lester and his agent met with the Chicago Cubs Tuesday and are scheduled to meet with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

But Lester isn’t the only player the Red Sox have on their shopping list

After spending two days in Boston, meeting with the Red Sox brass, free agent Pablo Sandoval reportedly left Boston with a multi-year deal on the table.

The contract is believed to be in the five to six year range, for $20 million per season.

While the Red Sox are looking like the favorites to sign the 28-year-old 3rd basemen, the San Francisco Giants still want to keep their “Kung Fu Panda” on the west coast.
