FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - Multiple reports stated that Tom Brady will play, possibly start, their preseason game at Gillette on Thursday.
It’s known that Bill Belichick likes to simulate game situations and many in the know say that Brady will play very little, saving most of the snaps for Jimmy Garoppolo.
“Honestly, I was here last preseason game, I thought he was doing pretty good,” said fan Tarina Lloyd about Garoppolo.
“Seriously, let’s get real. He’s not that bad. But we all want to see Brady back,” said Lloyd.
Rob Gronkowski won’t be playing on Thursday.
“Keep the bubble wrap on him. There’s plenty of time for him to do his thing,” said Lloyd.
Many fans said they feel the same about Brady.
