T.J. Oshie didn’t have a chance to really enjoy Team U.S.A.’s win against Russia Saturday because they had a game the next day, but on Monday everyone wanted to talk about that shootout.

“It was a pretty crazy night after the game against Russia and the shootout,” Oshie said.

Oshie was the star of that epic shootout.

His coach sent him to the line six times. He scored on four of those chances, including the game winner.

“To keep getting called shows the support the coaches had for me and I’m glad I didn’t disappoint,” he said.

On Monday, days later, he said it’s still sinking in.

“It’s crazy I’m kind of getting the chills right now. It’s really exciting and I’m very humbled and very happy to have the support of everyone back home,” he said.

Since the game Oshie has gained more than 130-thousand Twitter followers, but he says blocking out the newfound fame has been easier than you’d think.

“I feel like we’re in a little bubble here so you don’t really get everything,” Oshie said.

He also talked about the possibility of a rematch against Russia.

“It was a tough game, but if we have to we’re ready.”

If both teams win out they could face off in the gold medal game this weekend.
