New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is being hailed as the "Greatest quarterback of all time. Period." on the cover of GQ’s "Men of the Year" issue, released on Wednesday.
"Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history," opens the story, written by Chuck Klosterman, and it’s hard to argue with the sentiment, especially here in New England.
Brady was the Super Bowl MVP in February and has led the Patriots to a 9-0 season this year, all despite intense scrutiny, court appearances, and a 4-game suspension – eventually overturned in federal court – following a football deflation scandal.
All the while, Brady has been the best quarterback in the league and is the frontrunner for league MVP this season. He’s thrown for 3,043 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only three interceptions this year as the Patriots pursue a perfect regular season for the second time in team history.
Brady has led the Patriots to four Super Bowl titles – tied for the most of any QB – and is the all-time postseason leader in completions, passing yards, and touchdowns thrown.
