The FDA is approving a drug to help melt away fat from double chins.
It’s an injectable drug called “kybella,” which is a formulation of a substance normally found in the body that helps dissolve fat.
Regulators say it shouldn’t be used for other areas of the body because it can also kill skin cells.
Side effects can include nerve damage and trouble swallowing.
