7Healthcast: Peanut allergies and asthma

A new study suggests some kids with asthma may have a peanut allergy and not know it.

Doctors say that symptoms of an asthma attack can mirror a reaction to a food allergy.

Experts analyzed the data of 100 children, all who had asthma and were tested for a peanut sensitivity.

Of those who tested positive, more than half had never before been suspected of having a food allergy.
