Wind……Air in motion relative to the Earth. That is the meteorological definition of wind (my 9-yr old has a different definition but I’ll spare you the details on that one… #PullMyFinger). The wind won’t be damaging but it will be with us for much of the day, occasionally gusting between 20-30 mph. The wind is dry & refreshing so your day is loaded with sunshine with temps running close to normal, upper 60s.
That wind fades this evening but the dry air does not so look for more sunshine for the end of the week and into the start of the Holiday Weekend. The next few days will offer sunshine with varying amount of clouds but outdoor plans should be fine right through the weekend. As for temps, they will run close to normal until Saturday–that day does look a little on the cool side of the fence with morning temps in the 40s & afternoon highs only in the low 60s. Sunday will be warmer with many cities & towns in the 70s–even at the beaches. Memorial Day also looks dry but clouds will be on the increase throughout the day so if sun is a must for you (i.e. beaches, pools) then Sunday looks like the pick of the weekend for you.
We’ll fine tune that as we get closer.
