Townsend police arrested a male juvenile in connection with alleged threats made at North Middlesex Regional High School Thursday.
He was charged with making threats of a weapon in the school and disrupting a school assembly, and he will be arraigned Friday in Lowell Juvenile Court.
Administrators at the school told police about verbal threats to harm people at the school.
The male was in the administration’s custody when police arrived and he was arrested.
No weapons were found and the incident remains under investigation.
