Our see-saw temp action continues today although it will be in reverse of what happened yesterday. As of 6am we are starting in the upper 40s with an April feel to the air. #Raw. As we step through the morning, skies will begin to clear and that will allow temps to head for the 80s by afternoon. Humidity will also be on the rise so those two elements will make it feel like July by afternoon. Enter a cool front from New York later today and as this front rams into the early season warmth look for a few scattered t-storms across southern New England. Some of the storms may be fiesty late this afternoon with wind. In terms of beneficial rainfall, not enough to clean out the pollen or put a dent in our recent dry spell…most towns less than .10″ of rain (a heavier downpour could drop .50″ of rain).
This front breezes through here late this evening putting an end to our summer preview for a bit. Plan on sunshine for the remainder of the week with some cool mornings (40s) and pleasant afternoons (60/70s). The risk of showers & cool weather makes a return for Saturday.
Enjoy your Tacos!
