The top 10 beaches in the country have been named and a local beach has made the cut.
Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod has been named as the seventh best beach.
The list is according to a coastal scientist.
The top three beaches in the country are
Bay Beach Park in Oahu, Hawaii, Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida and Saint George Island State Park in the Florida panhandle.
