Ken Wu is not your average High School Senior.
He’s an international exchange student who will graduate this year from St. Clement’s High School in Medford.
Four years ago, Ken entered St. Clement’s as a freshman, straight from China. He hardly knew English, and was far from family and friends.
Through hard-work, curiosity, and determination, Wu not only succeeded, but he’s helped others succeed too.
Each Sunday, he comes to the Youth Council of the Asian American Civic Association in Boston.
He helps students who emigrated from China adjust to American life.
Wu is uncertain where he will be next year. He says, if he’s in the Boston area, he will continue to help at the Asian American Council.
