Everett police officer dances with community members at unity block party

EVERETT, MASS. (WHDH) - The Everett Police Department posted a video to their Facebook page showing one of their officers dancing with community members at a recent Community-In-Unity block party.

The block party took place on Saturday and was sponsored by Zion Church Ministries and Bishop Robert G. Brown.

Officer Patrick Johnston, the officer shown in the video, commented on the post saying, “I had a great time and made a few new friends.”

Officer Johnston also recalled his favorite moment from the day–” One special moment came when a parishioner came up to three officers and gave us all a big hug whispering over and over ‘Thank you for all you do, thank you for all you do,'” said Johnston.

No, thank you,” he added.
