The month of May is only a week away and some of us early this morning are waking up saying WTF (Why The Flakes). Yes, we do track a few flurries and snow showers through here early this morning, but at least the temperatures are above freezing, meaning no issues on the roads to worry about. The few scattered flakes this morning transition to a passing sprinkle/brief shower this afternoon, although much of the time remains dry. TGIF!
Highs today only reach the lower 50s again with a bit of a breeze throughout the day. That’s pretty much a rinse and repeat forecast through the weekend, although highs Saturday and Sunday edge a few degrees higher… in the mid to upper 50s. Any sprinkle/brief shower this weekend won’t be enough to interrupt the yard sales and ball games, or enough to water the lawns. However the breeze and the clouds will be enough to give it more of a late March feel.
Monday brings in the risk of a few more showers and cool temps before we start to warm back up mid-week. The next day with widespread 60s will finally work back in by Wednesday.
Pollen counts remain high through the weekend as allergy season is now in full bloom.
