FLORIDA (WHDH) — An elderly man falls and is left on the ground in the middle of a busy road until a good samaritan stopped to help.
Cars continued to drive around him as he struggled to get up.
Barry Shaw jumped out of his car to lend the old man a hand.
Shaw was approaching an intersection when he saw a man on his back in the middle of the road.
“My first reaction was, like, why isn’t anyone stopping?” Shaw said. “Why aren’t just people stopping because there’s an old man lying in the road?”
He flagged down a couple of drivers to help lift the man up and make it to the other side of the road safely.
Shaw says he is thankful it wasn’t worse.
