A new study reveals a link between cyberbullying and depression.

Students between the ages of 12 and 18 were interviewed for the study. Nearly 25 percent of the students said they have been bullied online.

The study also found that cyberbullying was linked with an increased chance of being diagnosed with depression.

The majority of people who participated in the study were female and reported that they had been the victim of name-calling and rumors spreading.
