WASHINGTON (AP) — Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg made a “dumb” political statement when she said last week that he’s not qualified to be president. Trump says on Twitter that Ginsburg’s “mind is shot.”
Earlier Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that it was “totally inappropriate” for Ginsburg to criticize Trump.
Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday night:
Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me. Her mind is shot – resign!
