Our chance for rain came and went… and didn’t give us anything, really.  Just some light sprinkles yesterday in Worcester and Boston – but no measurable precipitation.  The precip deficit continues to grow, without another decent chance for rain until Tuesday.  Sigh.

While we didn’t have any rain to dampen our Saturday, we did have persistent cloud cover dampening our highs yesterday.  That’s not the case today.  Far from it, really.  We’re warming very quickly, heading for the low to mid 80s in the interior.  Around midday, coastal areas will top out in the low 70s before the sea breeze kicks in.

For Sunday:  We have sunshine (yay!), we have warmth (yay!), we have HUMIDITY (boooooo).  Two out of three ain’t bad though, right?!  Dew points will be around 60° throughout today.  It won’t make it uncomfortable outside, but you’ll definitely notice it.  It’s going to be muggy, and for me it will be a ponytail day.  You get me, ladies?  #wavyhairdontcare

If the warmth is too much for you today, you’re in for a treat tomorrow.  A backdoor cold front works into the area overnight tonight.  Highs Monday will be dramatically different from Sunday; upper 60s to around 70° inland, and only in the 50s for the coast.  A BIG difference from today.  Just think of it as Mother Nature’s gift of no-cost AC!

Aside from the humidity today, we will likely stay dry through Tuesday.  That’s when another cool front could pop a few showers in the area.  Again, it’s not enough to really make a difference in the mini-drought we’re in… but at this point, we’ll take all we can get.

Temps through the week top out right around 70° each day.  So this is the spring we skipped!  Have a great day!  – Breezy
