STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. (WHDH) — A man that walked away from Coos County House of Corrections in Stewartstown, New Hampshire has been located.

NH State Police began searching for Brendan Brenier, after he walked away from Coos County Jail in Stewartstown, NH on Thursday.

Bernier turned himself into Lyndonville, VT Police on Friday.

He is currently being held at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility waiting on extradition hearing.

Bernier had been serving a sentence related to driving a car after being deemed a habitual offender.
