(VERMONT) — It’s that time of year again in New England where the leaves are changing colors and people are flocking to Vermont.

The fall foliage igniting hillsides is a major driver of the states economy.

You can tell there is plenty of green left out there now but peak conditions are approaching.

Some were worried the dry summer would impact the foliage but Vermont avoided the sever drought we saw in Massachusetts.

State forest officials expect around 3.2 millions travelers to come through Vermont this fall.
