(PLYMOUTH, CT) — A small plane crashed in Plymouth, Connecticut yesterday.

The plane crashed near a pond at a Boy Scouts Camp.

The pilot was removed from the wreckage and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The fire chief says the plane may have been trying to land at a private strip nearby.

It is unclear where the pilot and the plane were coming from.  The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash.
