Outdoor plans today? We have the weather for that as yesterday’s pleasant feel to the air spills over into today. There will be some mid to high level clouds to filter the sun at times today, but we do stay dry. Temps along the coast will reach the mid 70s this morning, then drop back into the upper 60s with the onshore breezes this afternoon. Meantime, we’re near 80 or just over it inland again. Enjoy!
The mid to high level clouds thicken late-day and that’ll foreshadow the incoming rain we’ll catch for Monday. What’s welcomed news for the lawns may not be welcomed news for the Monday morning and afternoon commutes as roads likely are wet for those. Rainfall amounts generally run about 0.50-1.00″, although there will likely be higher amounts in Western Mass and Connecticut and lower amounts in Northeast Mass and Southern New Hampshire. No matter the rain total, the temps will be cool with that onshore breeze as highs range from the upper 50s to low to mid 60s. Heading to the Sox/Braves game tomorrow night?… Right now it looks like showers taper off in the early evening, but some mist/drizzle may linger. Plan on a damp and cool game.
Tuesday we’ll warm back up with a slight chance of a passing storm before it’s dry and comfy again Wednesday.
