DENVER (AP) - Forecasters say severe storms are likely today in parts of the Southern and Great Plains.
The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, says the greatest risk for bad weather is in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, but there also could be isolated tornadoes in parts of Missouri and western Illinois.
Yesterday, tornadoes, hail and strong winds hit parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, but no major damage was reported.
The same large storm system also dumped a foot of snow on Wyoming’s mountain ranges.
