Producer Julie Plec owns Thursdays with ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ airing back-to-back.

On the heels of its most-watched season to date, the CW is not rocking the boat with its fall 2015-16 lineup — adding just one new series of its three new orders.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will open the week in the 8 p.m. Monday hour, paired with fellow comedy Jane the Virgin. That means that freshmen Legends of Tomorrow and Containment (previously Cordon) are holding for midseason.

“The CW is heading into next season with incredible stability and strength, and continuing its strategy of adding more original programming all year long,” said network president Mark Pedowitz. “Our new fall series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is original and hilarious, and will work as a perfect companion for Jane on Monday nights, while at midseason we have the much-anticipated DC’S Legends of Tomorrow, and the tense action of Containment. These three new series are a terrific complement to our already strong schedule, and allow us to keep building on our momentum in 2015-16.”

The recent pairing of The Flash and iZombie is holding on Tuesday, as will the proven Wednesday duo Arrow and Supernatural — while The Vampire Diaries will finally get a genre neighbor from spinoff The Originals, which is shifting from Monday. In that move, Reign goes to Friday where it will be paired with America’s Next Top Model. (Returning dramas The 100 and Beauty and the Beast are both planned for 2016 premieres.)
