….a cool front snuck in here from Maine. It’s happened before this spring…that soaker backdoor front thing. That will do a number on high temps in eastern New England today with most towns in the 60s…..50s along the coast (including Boston). This front has also produced some clouds & fog this morning. The fog will left & the clouds will partially break apart this afternoon. All in all, a decent spring day.
The weekends the past couple of months have featured nothing but sunshine but we actually could use some rain but not on a weekend. Now that it’s Monday, it’s time to root for rain again, unfortunately, the only shot of rain this week is tomorrow. That chance of rain comes in the form of a cool front and this front will only produce scattered showers…not an all-day soaker which is what we could use. I think most towns will pick up .3″ of less by tomorrow afternoon.
The rest of the week will offer seasonal temps and sunny skies. It is a bit early but as of now Memorial Day weekend is looking promising with sunshine and seasonal temps (low 70s). More on this during the week.
Good luck—it’s Monday.
