Nothing Earth shattering by any stretch, but we are talking about a colder and windier Sunday as temperatures hold steady this morning and then fade a few degrees this afternoon. Add in a wind that gusts to near 30mph, and it will be noticeably chillier than Saturday as temps in the low to mid 40s this afternoon, feel more like the 30s. We’ll stay dry with a mix of sunshine and scattered clouds.
Not only is it quiet here in southern New England, it’s quiet across much of the country as the map below shows. The exception to that is across the west coast, especially from San Francisco to Seattle and more rain and mountain snow crashes into the area.
This week will feature a few breezy days, but not a lot of rain through Thursday here. The mildest day is Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
By the end of the week, a cold front and a wave of low pressure along it, will swing through and deliver rain Friday through Friday night. Some of it, locally heavy Friday night. As it appears now, the storm should shift far enough north and east to dry out for much of next weekend, but if it cuts off closer/slows near New England, that would change. We’ll keep you posted on that one.
Enjoy your Sunday and Go Pats!!!!!!!
