Vacations are awesome and essential but I find re-entry challenging. I spent most of the morning read over Bri’s & Chris’s tweets & blogs from the past few days as well as the stats of recent so I could catch up on our weather the past few days. It appears much is the same—-wicked dry and wicked hot–with a few rounds of severe storms.

We nearly made out like bandits with a super soaker but that storm wobbled just south of New England–keeping much of the beneficial rain offshore and while more rain is on our forecast, it appears only scattered showers are likely–not widespread rains.

Tomorrow will be the nicer of the two weekend days with a mix of sun & clouds, lower humidity and seasonably warm temps–beach/pool it(use the sunscreen)! Sunday offers more clouds and a scattering of some showers with the best chance of those showers in western New England. Not an ideal day for pools, lakes, beaches but still plenty of dry times for outdoor activities. Monday is nearly identical as a weak storm swirls about the region. Rainfall isn’t widespread but we’ll take what we can get.

Have a great weekend!
