New England weather at its finest the last five days! Nearly 4.5” of snow Saturday, yesterday’s high temperatures brought us highs about 17° above average, yet this morning…it’s feeling like 10°. Winds stay out of the N/NW today, will help keep temperatures again well below average. Today’s highs in Boston will struggle to reach the upper-20s, but at least our winds are going to cut us some slack. We do have the slight chance for some ocean-effect flurries across the Cape and the Islands today into tonight. Winds tonight start to shift to out of the west, and this will cut off any flurries.

High pressure continues to build to our west, and stays with us into mid-week. This brings us some greatly-missed sunshine and moderating temperatures into the middle of the week. By Wednesday we’re back into the 40s.

Our next frontal system pushes eastward from the Upper Midwest & Great Lakes, bringing us the chance for wet weather into Thursday (which looks to stay as mostly rain).

Your holiday weekend looks to be mild, dry & all-around pretty nice!!

It’s not going to be in the 50s today…bundle up!
