Not going to sugar coat this one… today is just a damp, dreary, blah day. As you head out this morning be sure to grab the umbrella and/or rain jacket as we’ll have scattered showers around all day today. It’s not going to rain nonstop all day, but there will be scattered showers around from now through late this evening. Some showers will be lighter — almost drizzle, and there will be some heavier pockets as well.

Wind will turn to the northeast and it will be a bit breezy, especially on the coastline, which will add to that drab feel today. It will also prevent temperatures from moving much. We’re starting off in the 50s this morning and many of us will stay in the 50s (upper 50s) through the afternoon. Best chance of climbing to the low 60s (not that it’s much of a difference) will be across southern New Hampshire.

Once we shake the damp day today we have a great stretch of weather ahead that will take us through the weekend. We’ll start off with early clouds tomorrow with developing sunshine through the day. Temperatures will return to the 70s! We’ll be back in the 70s to close out the week on Friday. The weekend forecast still looks very nice, just more fall like. We’ll keep the sunshine and dry weather for Saturday and Sunday but highs will top out in the upper 50s to near 60 instead of the 70s like Thursday and Friday.
