Happy Thursday peeps! Or, what some of us to like to refer to as Friday Eve.   Of course, this time of year we have a lot going on… the end of school, folks on vacation and of course all those summer plans from pool parties to cookouts to tee times to the beach. Bottom line, we need the nice weather for the weekend right?

Mother nature will deliver on that nice weather as high pressure rules the roost and provides an encore to Father’s Day weekend. The shower chance today-Monday is low, real low as I only see a slight opportunity for a pop up shower across Southeast Mass today, with the bulk of the rain staying south of us. The sun is filtered out by mid to high level clouds at times today with the brightest skies north of the Pike and cloudiest conditions favoring Buzzards Bay and the Cape.  Even across the Cape, I do expect at least some sun at times.  Highs near 80 this afternoon.

We’ll put the forecast on autopilot through the weekend with temps warming up and even a bit of humidity returning by Monday and Tuesday.  Friday-Monday will feature the coolest temps at the coast and warmest #s inland. We sure could use some more rain, but will have to wait until Tuesday before the next widespread chance for showers/storms.

Enjoy the nice weather! @clamberton7 on twitter
