It’s Thursday which means we get an update to the drought monitor. As you can imagine, it’s not good news. The 95 Corridor from the Merrimack Valley to Providence has been upgraded to an extreme drought.

Boston, to date is running 4th driest year on record.

Rain chances tomorrow are confined to the Cape so where it’s needed most (well, everyone needs it), will not see any rain. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun. Similar to today with a little bit more sun. The farther north and west you are is where we’ll see more sun. And vice versa.

The weekend forecast is outstanding. Get outside and enjoy it! For once we won’t have extreme heat or humidity. Honestly it probably isn’t even the best beach weekend. Temperatures will be cooler, Saturday will feature a fair amount of clouds and the numbers you see below are inland — we’ll be cooler on the coast. That said any other outdoor activity looks like perfect weather!
