How about that start early on this Wednesday morning?! A little touch of early September is with us as the morning lows fell into the mid 50s for many burbs. With that said, the recovery will be quick as highs head up into the mid to upper 80s inland. At the coast, we’ll hold near 80 as sea breezes kick in, allowing for a refreshing wind off the water and a nice beach day overall. Sunshine does fade a bit behind some mid to high level clouds this afternoon, but I expect no rain through the day as low humidity prevails.
Humidity does come up tonight and tomorrow and that’ll help fuel a few scattered showers/storms tomorrow and again Friday. Those storms are hit or miss, so not all towns will see them, and locations that do, still have the majority of the day rain-free. We certainly could use the rain though as severe drought continues and this July is currently in 4th place for driest Julys on record. Highs tomorrow and Friday run in the mid 80s to near 90.
Scattered showers and storms move offshore by daybreak Saturday as lower humidity wins out again for the weekend with more sunshine. Overall, great summer weather as temps top off in the mid to upper 80s as dew points hold in the 50s. Enjoy!
