After a few showers before 8 AM, we’re turning the page on our wet weather pattern. Today we’ll clear out our cloud cover, seeing a mix of clouds and sunshine. Temperatures stay well above normal in the mid to upper 50s for most, which is not bad at all for the first day of December! Westerly winds carry a bite today, and this will make things feel more convincing that we are truly starting the first day of meteorological winter.

If you’re headed to the Boston Common Tree Lighting at 6PM this evening, you’ve got one of the best forecasts you could hope for. Temperatures should stay in the upper to mid-40s during this event (near to above our average highs for early December), with dry skies.

Enjoy and tomorrow’s mild temperatures, because we’re going to knock off a few degrees each day into the start of next week. Temperatures be below normal highs to kick off next week, with the slight chance for quick wintry mix Monday.

Enjoy the sunshine and mild temperatures!
