The cool ocean air finally won the battle in terms of bringing in plenty of low level moisture.  That moisture provides us with areas of fog, plenty of clouds and areas of drizzle this morning.  Overall, it’s a damp and cool start.

The onshore breezes prevail through the day but the drizzle won’t as the high sun angle this time of year can help raise the cloud levels, alleviating the consistent mist and drizzle.  Some breaks of sun are likely this afternoon, especially away from the coast, but the cooler air holds tough.  Highs this afternoon range from the upper 60s at the coast to the mid to upper 70s inland.

Low clouds and fog are revived tonight as the onshore flow continues.  With a disturbance moving in from the west tomorrow and an onshore wind prevailing, expect a cool day with lots of clouds and scattered showers.   Scattered showers and storms linger into Sunday, certainly marking the end of our weather winning weekends.  While there will be some dry hours amid the scattered showers and storms this weekend, it’ll be tough to find good beach/pool weather.

If vacation starts this weekend for you, don’t worry, plenty of nice summer weather settles back in next week as we near 90 by Wednesday.
