Wow, what a difference 24hrs can make! Yesterday morning, the humidity was sky high, and the temps ran near 80 degrees. This morning, the temps are 10 to 20 degrees cooler and the humidity a lot lower, allowing for a comfortable feel to the air.
While the next several days does produce a lot of dry weather, there are a couple of chances of showers in the forecast. The first chance is this morning, although rain will be limited, as a few showers in Connecticut and western Mass make their journey eastbound. Between 7-9am, a couple of sprinkles/light showers are possible in towns near and south of the Pike. This afternoon is mainly dry, aside from an isolated pop-up shower. Bottom line, if you’re hitting the course, pool or beach, the day is much more dry than wet. In fact, we’ll catch some sun too as highs average the mid 80s.
Tomorrow looks great, mostly sunny, humidity in check, and sea breezes kicking in. Highs near 80 at the coast, and run into the mid 80s inland.
The weekend looks mainly dry right now too, especially Saturday. By Sunday, we’ll watch moisture increase, more clouds mix in and even some showers likely across western New England. For Central and Eastern Mass, it appears the higher rain chance won’t move in until Sunday night and Monday. Higher humidity returns then, with scattered downpours possible in the showers and storms that do form.
The pattern is a beauty by Tuesday with bone dry humidity and sunshine returning. That high likely holds in nice weather for at least a few days.
