For the third morning in a row, we’re waking up to some nuisance weather. While were not in the thick of the low pressure system to our south, we are still seeing some moisture associated with this for your AM commute. Our rain/snow line has largely been set up across I-495, with mainly light snow west of the loop and light rain east of the loop. Temperatures are near or above freezing throughout Southern New England, so most of us are seeing wet roads (instead of accumulation like what we saw Monday morning). While we’re not seeing much in terms of accumulation, we do still have some slick spots out on the roads.

Our wet weather wraps up by the mid-morning, and we dry out into the lunch hours. Cloud cover sticks around for the afternoon, with seasonable temperatures in the low to mid-40s. Our weather pattern changes dramatically by the end of the week, bringing the coldest air of the season so far. High temperatures by Saturday will top off in in the low-30s…ready the down jacket!
Allow some extra time on the roads this morning!
