I really don’t think how you could draw up a Holiday Weekend any better than what we had…..3 days of sunshine, low humidity and warm temps–perfect for any & all sorts of outdoor activities! Our best in years for sure as the past two offering rain with 2014 being ugly as we tracked Tropical Storm Alex grazing New England with heavy rain. The final few hours of the Holiday Weekend offer clear skies, mild temps & low humidity—-ideal conditions for fireworks tonight!
As for tomorrow & beyond, we watch a storm–no name (non tropical)– pass just south of New England very early tomorrow. This storm will throw some clouds across the region early in the day and even a few scattered showers along the South Coast/Cape/Islands before 10am but otherwise, it’s dry again for outdoor activities. More clouds than tomorrow but skies will become partly to mostly sunny by afternoon. That will send temps back into the 80s.
Wednesday & Thursday are classic summer days…..hazy, not & humid with temps both days heading for the low 90s and with humidity joining the party it’s rather uncomfortable when outside–unless of course, you are near a beach, pool (pond too–pond would be good for you). As for summer storms, not likely on Wednesday but a few will pop in the afternoon steam heat on Thursday. Scattered in nature–not widespread. I think we’re storm-free on Friday but the risk of storms (scattered) returns by Saturday afternoon.
Enjoy!
