What a weekend!  Low humidity and a ton of sunshine prevailed on Saturday and Sunday as the weather worked out just fine for those tee times and cookouts with dad.  While it was on the cool side at the beaches Saturday, Sunday did provide some warmer #s, even at the coast.  The only problem I have, is the fact the weekends seem to go by waaaayyyyyyy too fast.  Now here we are, back to the grind.

At least we’ll have another round of nice summer weather today, which is appropriate since summer officially starts with the solstice at 6:34pm.  Sunrise was at 5:07am and sunset is 8:24pm.

As we hold more sunshine than clouds, temps warm up into the mid 80s around the Boston Metro area, warmer northwest of the city and cooler to the southeast.   Humidity comes up a bit as well as dewpoints rise into the 60s.  The higher humidity does not last long though, a cold front comes through tomorrow morning with a few scattered showers/storms in the early AM before sunshine and lower humidity prevail through the afternoon.

I don’t see a lot of rain this week, however, there is the chance for some rain Thursday as a wave of low pressure passes close to New England.  If it’s far enough north, all of us catch some rain, if the storm is too far south, then just the southern coast of New England catches some drops.  Regardless of how widespread the rain is Thursday, Friday-Sunday look great again as high pressure builds back in.  We’ll likely start that stretch coolish with low humidity Friday and end on the hot side and a bit muggier by Sunday.

Enjoy the day and I hope everyone had a good weekend.
