I know I’ve mentioned this in one of my blogs at some point, but do you remember the Jimmy Dean commercials featuring the giant, human sunshine?  I’ve always thought that would be a fantastic Halloween costume, but haven’t figured out how to pull it off.  In any case, I bring Mr. Sun up because this morning reminds me of one of my favorite commercials:  “Why so low cloud?”  “Feelin’ a little FOGGY…”

So it may take most of us that extra cup of coffee to “lift” us up this morning, but it won’t take too long (or a sausage breakfast sandwich) for the fog to disappear and give-way to sunshine.  High pressure is in control of our weather for a couple/few days, and we’re enjoying some of the BEST days of summer.  For this afternoon, highs top out in the low 80s for most with the immediate coastline closer to 80° (upper 70s) due to a sea breeze.  No matter how you serve it up, the day looks like “comfortable warmth.”

Like the sounds of that?  Let’s do it again tomorrow!  We’re in for sunshine to stick around through the end of this work-week, and we’re also in for a bit of a warming trend.  The next “weather maker” doesn’t move into the picture until Saturday.  Friday and Saturday you may notice things start to feel a little sticky/muggy… and then a cool front rolls through on Saturday to bring us some showers.  There may be an isolated storm or two in the afternoon, but the timing of this front isn’t looking conducive to anything strong/severe.

Something to make note of, but not to bum you out (because why would I do that?), today is our last sunset past 8:00pm.  I’m sorry to tell you that, but it’s important for planning purposes!!  Either way, we’re losing daylight very SLOWLY, which means the best days of summer are still to come!

Always look on the bright side of life! – Breezy
