Ahhh… the time of year where summer is often in the air and we really, REALLY look forward to the weekends. Now only if the weather can work out every weekend! This weekend, it’s a 50/50 split.
Before we jump into the Saturday and Sunday deets, let’s get through today. While I don’t expect a lot of rain, there will be a few passing scattered showers this morning. This afternoon, the shower chance is rather low as the sun even tries to poke holes in the clouds. Highs range from the upper 60s at the coast to mid to upper 70s inland. Lot’s going on tonight from Queen B at Gillette to the Sox at Fenway. Temps early this evening hover near 70 as it’ll remain mainly dry.
Weekend time! Saturday features patchy low clouds and fog early, yielding to a partly to mostly sunny sky and temps running 70-74 at the coast to near 82 inland. From the golf course to graduation parties, to weddings, the weather looks good! Sunday on the other hand…. well, we have some rain to contend with. After some dry hours in the morning, showers likely arrive by midday and rain is heavy at times late in the afternoon and through the evening. With plenty of moisture streaming up the east coast, there will be ample moisture to wring out a good 0.50-1.00″. Locally up to 1.5″ is possible. For the most part, it’s a beneficial rain event for us, just not good timing wise.
Have a great day and TGIF!
