Summer. For so many of us, it’s THE season we live for here in New England. Truth be told, I actually love ALL the seasons and what they offer—-but summer is my fav and the Memorial Day Holiday is that ol “Unofficial start to summer…” Of course with the summer season comes summer heat and the risk of storms.
That is day one of the weekend in a nutshell….hazy & hot tomorrow with temps running up near 90 by afternoon. Most of the day is storm-free but a cool front does drop out of northern New England by evening. This front will pop off a few isolated storms but just that…isolated. Great beach day.
Sunday we see that front cruise through southern New England with more clouds for us and cooler temps–especially metro Boston & north of town. South of the Pike, it’s still warm (near 80) but not as hot. That front won’t pester Boston with rain but it might lead to a few isolated storms across western New England during the afternoon.
Memorial Day will see a bunch of clouds and a risk of scattered showers. Not a washout but don’t bank on dry weather the entire day as showers are likely–especially across western/central New England. The coast may be able to escape with just a few isolated showers. Some sun will shine but clouds will vie for your attention as well.
After the shower threat on Monday, sunshine is back for much of next week.
Enjoy time with family & friends this weekend…be safe & save a few thoughts/prayers for those who lost someone defending this great nation.
