It’s here…some real cold. So bundle up, and hunker down for a cold weekend. An arctic front has moved through New England, ushering in the coolest air of the season for us. While temperatures this morning are in the low-30s and upper-20s, it’s feeling like the low-20s for most.

Winds will help make our already cold weather, downright chilly today and tomorrow. Our winds shift from the west to the NW into tonight, moving in even cooler air for your Saturday forecast. Temps tomorrow will struggle to reach into the low-30s, and it will feel like the upper-teens in the afternoon.

Saturday night into Sunday high pressure cozies up to New England, and winds mellow out. However, our next storm system also takes its aim on Southern New England as we head into Sunday evening. This will bring the chance for snow through the overnight hours into Monday morning. While Boston can expect to transition from snow to rain Monday. We could see more appreciable snow totals in northwestern Mass.

Happy Friday and get ready for a cold stretch of weather!
