With all of the ups and downs (but mostly downs) we’ve experienced with temps this month, you may be wondering what “normal for November” should feel like. Well, today was that “normal” day with more seasonable temps for this time of year; highs in the upper 40s to around 50°. It really was a pleasant day, #IMHO, with the warming sunshine and light wind. I hope you were able to get out and about to walk off that feast we enjoyed yesterday! :c)
Heading into the weekend, you can take your pick. One day will be above average, and one day below:
The sunshine should stick around through all of our daylight hours tomorrow (sunset at 4:15pm). The breeze will pick up a bit, but shouldn’t feel too chilly with temps in the mid 50s. If you’re traveling across the Northeast this weekend, this is how the forecast looks for Saturday:
As a cold front sweeps through late Saturday into early Sunday, there could be a few light spot showers. This only looks like a 10-20% chance though, as most of us should stay dry. After that cold front moves through, Sunday is much colder – and our wind will change direction; from the SW to the NW ushering back in the bit of late fall:
While the sunshine will return on Sunday, it will feel very chilly. NW winds will be blustery, 10-20mph with gusts to 30. This will make it feel like it’s in the 30s for the bulk of the day, so keep that in mind if you’re heading to Gillette.
Next week looks dry, but breezy/windy most days. Wednesday should feature another boost into the 50s but once again, it’ll be a short-lived warm up. Enjoy your weekend!!! – Breezy
