WCW……Weather Crush Wednesday! What a day (again) with sunny skies, low humidity and warm temps with Boston reaching 85! Rather impressive considering a northwest wind was back in action today but that is a testament to the dry air (which can heat up quickly) as well as the strong June sunshine(sunset tonight is 8:23).
No big changes in tonight’s blog……High Pressure is using up Comp Time–built up from this past winter–and on a stay-cation in New England. Can’t blame the dude—-when you have days like today, it’s likely one of the best spots to be in the nation. This area of High Pressure is with us for the remainder of the week as well as the upcoming weekend. Plan on sunny skies and seasonable temps for a few more days. A sea breeze is in order tomorrow, so coastal cities, towns & beaches won’t reach the mid 80s but rather upper 70s (low 80s farther inland).
Our next chance of rain is most likely from a cool front Tuesday of next week with a scattering of late afternoon thunderstorms. There is the slight chance an ocean storm could clip southern New England Monday of next week with some showers but that chance is wicked low so, for now, no rain drops on the Monday forecast.
Enjoy what’s left of #WCW.
