After a cool and breezy day yesterday, we start off cool again today.  Light jackets needed this morning as temps run in the low to mid 50s.  With batches of clouds, there have even been a few sprinkles over northern Mass and Southern NH.  Not much to talk about though for rain, the atmosphere is quite dry. Highs this afternoon near 70 under a partly sunny sky.  The breeze is a bit gusty this morning, but subsides this afternoon. In fact a late afternoon sea breeze likely develops along the coast.

On to the weekend shall we!

Saturday:  Starts with sun then the sun fades behind increasing late morning/midday clouds and a few showers/storms possible in the afternoon/evening.  The tricky part of the forecast is dealing with a complex of storms that develop overnight over the Great Lakes and head our way.  If the get in our area, as early as 2pm, some towns catch some showers and storms.  Right now, I’m tending to favor the bulk of the activity staying across western New England early to mid afternoon with many towns from Worcester, points east, dry through early afternoon.  Late-day and into the evening and overnight hours, it’s fair game for any town to get a shower or thunderstorm.  A couple storms Saturday evening/Saturday night could be strong with hail and gusty winds.  Something to keep an eye on.

A couple storms may linger into early Sunday morning, but we dry out quickly Sunday.  Sunday afternoon temps are warmest near lunch time, then fade back to near 70 late afternoon as a gusty wind develops.

A gusty wind will be with us Monday too.  Tuesday-Thursday = Easy Street.  Low humidity, sunshine and temps in the upper 70s to 80!
