On Wednesday, Armenian weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan suffered a gruesome elbow injury, ending his chances for an Olympic medal in the 77kg weight class.
The Armenian Olympic committee had some good news about the injury over the weekend.
According to the country’s Olympic committee, Karapetyan suffered an elbow dislocation on the attempted 195kg clean and jerk.
