SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) – The cinema at the Eastfield Mall in Springfield was evacuated for a gun scare on Sunday.
Western Mass News reports someone went into a theater and shouted that there was a gun. Police swarmed the scene but didn’t find a gun.
Everyone inside the movie theater was evacuated as a precaution. The theater has since been reopened.
