LOS ANGELES (WHDH) — A singer from Dorchester was eliminated on NBC’s “The Voice” Tuesday night.

Courtney Harrell was eliminated from competition after reaching the Top 10 on the show. Harrell worked as a music teacher in Boston before moving to Los Angeles to be a songwriter.

Harrell said being on “The Voice” was one of the best experiences of her life and that it helped her find her voice. She also thanked everyone in Boston for supporting her.
