FALL RIVER, MASS. (WHDH) - A Fall River teen has been placed on the Massachusetts Most Wanted Fugitive List in connection with a deadly shooting.
Massachusetts State Police Media Release say 16-year-old Jayden Smith and one other man shot and killed a 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen on Plain Street in Fall River July 2016.
Smith is reportedly a member of the ‘Gangster Disciples’ street gang and is considered armed and dangerous at this time. Police say Smith has gone by the nickname “Smitty,” and has a tattoo of a six-pointed star on his hand.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and Fall River Police Department have offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to Smith’s capture.
Anyone with information on Smith or his whereabouts is asked to call the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873).
