LUBBOCK, TX (WHDH) — A Texas Tech football player is riding high after getting a special message from Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots.
“Love the way you work and wear that red and black, and my boy wants to tell you something,” Amendola said in a video message to defensive back Justus Parker.
Gronkowski then appears on screen to say, “Justus, wassup man?! Congratulations, you’re on scholarship!”
Parker celebrated the news after learning about the earned full-ride.
The news was extra special coming from Amendola who played for Texas Tech.
