The Bridgewater Police Department is searching for a suspected bank robber.
On Tuesday, April 19 just before 3 p.m., police responded to Citizens Bank on Bedford Street for a report of a robbery.
Video surveillance showed the suspect entering the bank and displaying a large dark-colored revolver, demanding cash from the teller.
The suspect ran away with and undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black man approximately six feet tall wearing royal blue sweatpants, a blue vest, a black long sleeve shirt, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a multi-colored flat brimmed baseball hat and a black scarf covering his face.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
